What to keep in mind on Phi Phi

Maya Bay is open but swimming is banned: boats moor on the other side and you walk across
Pileh Lagoon is done by longtail boat, a separate stop, and worth it
The monkeys on Monkey Beach steal anything shiny, take your sunglasses off
Departures are 06:00–07:00, pickup is before dawn — bring breakfast or eat on board
